I askedGod to take my habit away, And God said, “No.” He said it was not for Him to take it away, But for me to give it up. Start in my imagination. I asked God to grant me patience, And God said, “No.” God said patience is a by-product of tribulation; It isn’t granted, it is earned. Consider seeing it in your imagination. I asked God to give me happiness, And God said, “No.” He said “I give blessings” Happiness is up to you.” Imagine you can feel happiness. I asked God to spare me pain, And God said, “No.” He said, “Suffering draws you apart from Worldly cares and brings you closer to Me.” Look into your imagination where pain rest now, See Me, your God.
What’s God Lesson?
I asked God to make my spirit grow, And God said, “No!” He said I must grow on my own, But He will prune me to make me fruitful. I asked God to help me love others as much as He loves me, And God said, “Ah, finally, you have the idea.” Imagine having a forgiving soft and gentle heart towards your enemies and others especially them who hurt you. Everything begins in the Imagination. Poem by Claudia Minden Weisz and Imagination parts of Whole. By Dr. Melvaughn Thompson
