This Life Analogy is that making Shortbread cookies are the perfect antidote for creating something out of nothing—when your resources are just about gone. When you’re stripped of basics and any extra you have to rely on the quality of your core ingredients. In life, that’s your character, your resilience, footwork, patience, and Faith in what you cannot see right now. This parallel thinking of having an enduring belief and hope as you look at life through that oven door with a mind of simplistic strength, awareness, and having confidence in the few close relationships you have. Always think on good things such as your good health is well as you being in a right sobor clear thinking mind. Remember, baking with creating sweetness amidst uncertainties and hardships can be a labor of love” to oneself toward moments of comfort and care. Sometimes, the best versions of ourselves are the ones we “bake” when we have to get back to the basics.
God Word
In finding peace and ease when resources are just about gone read the word of God.
Ecclesiastes 9:7 (NIV) reads: “Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for God has already approved what you do.” God loves you and you are in his hands. Selah! Stop, pause and reflect.
